Squires sell fish and chips with a difference. They do your regular plate of fish chips and peas but huge portions. AND they do a beautiful poached fish with a variety of sauces with salads on scallops. The fish is superb and the chips are heavenly.

During the 19th Century, the great house began to be let out to farmers, its castellated towers making it one of the grandest farmhouses in North Devon. In the 1930's, pleasure flights to Lundy Island would land in the grounds.
